A legend can be considered to be any teacher or concept directly related to Bacup and Rawtenstall Grammar School or the surrounding area that has a cult or almost-cult following for a prolonged period of time.
Arguably, only teachers and well-known figures in school should be seen as legends, as while some students may have a small following, it is rare that the whole school knows and loves them, as is the case with those below:
