A common phrase uttered by Physics teachers at A-level, due to the fact that the subject overlaps quite a lot. Quite a confidence-crusher really, when you think about it...
My GCSE/A-level students struggle with this
Another common phrase by all Science teachers, often used after a fairly simple exercise, like balancing reactions or the chemical name of water. This is often not true, and is just used to make the group feel better. This also makes it rather depressing.
