Teachers Meeting

According to some teachers, (*cough* Mr Williamson *cough*) the "student wiki" is on the agenda for discussion at the next teachers meeting, when this meeting resides, is still, a mystery, i doubt it matters really, but after this meeting, this may be a chance to be able to find out the opinion of teachers, that, or the verdict will be clear. I suppose that's a good thing, you'll have to keep us posted and try to find out what was said! Also any announcements that are made as I imagine it'll affect us in some way. Chris ^{talk - mod} 22:27, 5 January 2007 (UTC)

From the teachers I've spoken to the response was positive. Although 2 teachers was quite a small sample size. Clizard

I spoke with Mr Elkington today, and apparently, several teachers are concerned about the vandalism and some inappropriate content that is appearing on the site (although he did mention that most staff did find at least some of the content amusing). If the vandalism continues, he said the site may have to be filtered at school. Anomaly

Unfortunately, we know that this is a problem, but it is already blocked from edits at school and all the vandalism occurs at "home". Perhaps the teachers need to remind students that bullying isn't tolerated in any form? We are trying our best to keep it clean but it is very time consuming. We have received an email from a user who is concerned about levels of vandalism on the site, which is upsetting some pupils. We ask you all that ANY vandalism is swiftly reported to the moderators, by adding it below here, using Moderation Requests or by e-mailing us AS SOON AS IT IS FOUND.

• May I add, it is firstly the responsibility of year reps to keep content acceptable for their respective years. Please check your year if you haven't for a while. I will be doing a brief check over all years. Clizard 09:51, 30 November 2006 (UTC)
