Thanks again, and I do have a question. What exactly is meant by an unpatrolled edit? Thanks, Dangerousx 21:28, 27 October 2010 (BST)
Thank you, for the compliment as well as the promotion. Dangerousx 21:07, 27 October 2010 (BST)
I have had regular German lessons in Room 22 myself actually. Dangerousx 12:40, 26 October 2010 (BST)
Okay change it back then. Any other help? Let me know! Thanks BRGSMan talk - contribs 12:43, 26 October 2010 (BST)
Do you know when it will be decided whether User:Camponhoyle, User:1885 and I should become admins?User:Clizard said he would look at the situation last weekend, but he didn't mention anything on that topic. Thanks Dangerousx 16:50, 26 October 2010 (BST)
Hi Dangerousx, I'm not sure when the decision will be made. It is quite difficult to decide because there are 3 bureaucrats with different views, I think we are all unsure purely because I'm on a lot, and we think we might not need any more admins because I can clear up whats wrong. To be honest I'm not sure when it will happen, I remember when I asked to be an admin, I had to wait around a month. Any other help? Let me know! Changing Page Names
Hi BRGSMan,
I constantly find myself with a need to change page names. I can not see any way to change the names of sub articles, for example the sub-section in 08G, About the groups pupils have ,made in musical futures. This was originally given, what I feel, was a bad name. I changed it and now it seems to be working but it seemed a complicated route. Is their a simpler way to change a name of a page that will carry over the changes to any other attached page?
Cheers PurpleGuy
Hi Purple Guy, yes there is a simple way to change page names, it is using the move button. Unfortunately, this ability is only available for admins, so you can either go the long way around by creating a new page, cutting and pasting the content and putting a redirect on the old page, or you can simply ask me or another of the moderators. I hope I answered your question! Any other help? Let me know! Thanks BRGSMan talk - contribs 17:13, 26 October 2010 (BST)
It has, thanks!
I had Mr Fitton for food tech last year, so I thought he still taught it. Dangerousx 17:11, 26 October 2010 (BST)
I was going off what it said on his page and what I knew from school. If he taught you on a regular basis then undo my edit and add food tech to the subjects he teaches on his page. Any other help? Let me know! Thanks BRGSMan talk - contribs 17:16, 26 October 2010 (BST)
BRGSMan Template
That template you created is always going to show the same date and time. Dangerousx 17:32, 26 October 2010 (BST)
Hmmm I can't find a way around it, suppose I will just have to use three tildes: Any other help? Let me know! Thanks BRGSMan talk - contribs. The time and date will be on the place where I wrote the actual reply so it isn't too bad. Any other help? Let me know! Thanks BRGSMan talk - contribs 17:39, 26 October 2010 (BST)
Year Templates
I feel I might have missed something, but why aren't we using this template for year groups and forms?
http://www.brgswiki.org/wiki/Template:YFS
It looks a lot tidier than the system of just an intake year, then form, especially for intakes from 2007-2011, because it's easily confused with year groups...

Well I've just tried it on 8N and it doesn't seem to work, could you possibly show me how to use it? Any other help? Let me know! Thanks BRGSMan talk - contribs 12:48, 29 October 2010 (BST)
Never mind, I tried it on my own page, and it got too complicated as there were already people from previous years in the same category.
