The Head of Year is a teacher who follows your year group through from Year 8, to Year 11. Mrs Kennedy, the Maths teacher who sets lots of homework is nice as a head of Year and tries to learn all of her year's names. She is always head of Year 7. The other Head of Years get a new year at year 8 and are their Head of Year until the end of Year 11 when the rotation starts again and they go back to Year 8.
