Hello admins and all this is Rebecca's dad Mr Marshall here with a friendly observation. What Rebecca put on Alex's site was a comment that is known to you and the rest of the class in 09s and was meant as humour not offenssive.

I see. The problem is that while you and others may know the circumstances around someone's nickname, not everyone does. Also, please bear in mind that we have no way of proving who an account belongs to, they aren't verified and people can use pretty much any username. I think the admins were only following the policy we set out, as I mentioned below.

Next, to William and Alan and all on this site Rebecca has been on this site and her comments are not offensive or threatening. It is a saterical site and the humour here is not her bullying but observations ok. As admins do not threaten my daughter for something she Has clearly not done. If you are seen to be bullying her or anyone on this site i will contact the school myself and is it Chris (the modrator?) with complaints ok. You are in a postion to administate not dictate they are two diffent things learn about them ok.

I'll keep an eye on any further edits made though.

OK, I'm not sure what's been going on, as I can't find any offending edits in the recent changes list, but nonetheless I need to clarify a few things.

1. There are clear editing guidelines, and a list of unacceptable edits stating quite clearly that:

"The policy for such comments is that if they can possibly be seen in an insulting or derogatory way they cannot be posted (even if they are intended as a joke!), as we cannot confirm that the subject can see the funny side. This includes suggesting someone is "fat" or "gay", which can cause as much offence and upset to someone as a swear word. At the end of the day, this is a factual site, not somewhere to have a gossip."

Please note the possibly. If something is potentially insulting, it can't be posted, as no one outside a small group has any idea whether it is a joke or not. It's a site for facts, not rumours.

2. The BRGS Wiki is 100% independent of BRGS, and so if there are any instances of bullying contact the school directly. Any offensive comments can be reported to the Moderators via Moderation Requests or directly on my talk page as a Senior Moderator, and we will deal with it accordingly.

3. I am not aware of any threats being made, but if you can provide further details I'll look into it.

4. Please check your spelling before posting.

Sorry it was juust some of that information was Untrue.

I was told by someone (I think Tom) that it was someone said it wrong. So therefore, as far as I know, it was not an untrue statment.
