I don't know to be honest. All the current admins (ie. Chris, Clizard, Me) are all protected along with Heskey. I don't know why... but if you want your page to be edited by your friends, I would delete the redirect and then just put a simple message on your user page. A bit like I've done. {{User:BRGSMan/sig}} 22:11, 5 February 2010 (UTC)

Good point, maybe the obvious school red links should be kept (eg Rooms or annual events) but delete useless ones, such as pupils. {{User:BRGSMan/sig}} 16:50, 7 February 2010 (UTC)

Also do you know anything about Mr Chambers? I've seen there is a few red links to him, but I don't know anything about him except he's a chemistry teacher to write about him. {{User:BRGSMan/sig}} 17:00, 7 February 2010 (UTC)

Red Links - I noticed this too. Some of them are right to be deleted, but I think ones for important people or events should be kept, rather than deleting every one you come across. ''{{User:Chris/sig}} 17:14, 7 February 2010 (UTC)''

We've had an issue with a teacher today regarding privacy, so we've had to take as much caution as possible for now. We may slacken it soon, but for now, its probably best to keep it tight. {{User:BRGSMan/sig}} 21:13, 28 February 2010 (UTC)

I guess, students could be slackened... but we don't really want to get deep into people's private lives. Previous Schools hints even more to where students live, particularly primary schools, and you never know there could be some creep on the website whos planning to stalk somebody now... {{User:BRGSMan/sig}} 21:18, 28 February 2010 (UTC)

OK, I didn't make that clear (d'oh). I meant we shouldn't post things about ''teachers''' previous schools, where they came from, why they left etc etc. Better to play it safe, especially as we had some issues with a certain teacher's life before they moved to BRGS. There's no need to change it about all of the students..

Sockpuppetry

I thank you for your opinion on the matter but I feel that I have sufficient evidence to prove that the accounts are all being controlled by the same person, for example, the accounts have only been editing around one topic, 8N. He/she has edited the page Milton Ashworth in exactly the same way with two different accounts. I would love to hear how you respond to this so please let me know. Thanks BRGSMan 14:44, 21 November 2009 (UTC)

Hey, just thought I'd let you know, that we know the guy that is doing this. Luke is just acting like a weirdo becuase he wants to be made an admin (don't ask me why). Anyway, a load of kids from our class are just editing random pages, and a kid called Milton is editing stupid stuff, so "BRGSMan" is trying to stop him. What I don't get though, is that even though he knows who it is, he still speaks in "He/she has edited the page" and so on and so forth. Weird huh? Thanks, Sellers (WithAnN) 16:08, 22 November 2009 (UTC)

The fact is that I do know who it is, its just that I want to become an admin, so I'm trying to act like I don't know him. I'm sorry if I've irritated you, but you said that 'anybody that opposed me I branded a sockpuppet' think about User:Camponhoyle and even possibly yourself. BRGSMan 16:39, 22 November 2009 (UTC)

Sorry I don't know whats with all these 'new' accounts. If they are causing problems let me know and I will ban them. Thanks BRGSMan 14:21, 13 December 2009 (UTC)

Argument

They were extremely annoyed with each so I decided to ban them for a day just to let them calm down. I wasn't originally planning to ban them, but they got too annoyed with each other. Okay? BRGSMan 20:11, 13 December 2009 (UTC)

Fair enough, it was the point of the page, but is there really any point unbanning them, the ban is lifted after school tommorrow so they can edit again then, I you think otherwise then let me know and I will unban them. I like your personality... if I become a bureaucrat I will definitely consider you becoming an Admin. Thanks BRGSMan 20:24, 13 December 2009 (UTC)

While I remember, do you want me to do anything about those accounts you spoke to me about this morning? BRGSMan 20:26, 13 December 2009 (UTC)

Oh right okay, it is very similar to be honest, at least there is somebody here who I can talk to without them going crazy (Camponhoyle). What I don't understand about him is that he purposely makes mistakes on pages and then corrects them just to get more edits, I was wondering what you thought of this... I also noticed this page on wikipedia, [1], if you look at the sockpuppets of him, [2] they are similar to the ones at the link at the bottom. Is there a connection perhaps? I thought that you may have a good opinion on the subject. Thanks BRGSMan 20:40, 13 December 2009 (UTC)

I have already said, but I do certainly believe that you would make a really good admin to sort things out on here, unlike Camponhoyle, who has the potential to cause trouble. Would you be interested? Thanks BRGSMan 20:48, 13 December 2009 (UTC)

I've been in contact with them before, thats why I'm now an admin while the other week when you spoke to me I was not. I believe that the bureaucrats will think that you are good enough, but I've asked to become a bureaucrat myself, so I may be the one who promotes you. Anyway, being an admin will make you able to ban accounts, delete pages, protect pages and do the opposite for them all. I would expect that you would able to be an admin very soon. Sound okay? BRGSMan 20:55, 13 December 2009 (UTC)

I'm not actually writing anything on your page (well I am!) its just that I'm deleting the link to the sockpuppetry of Idiot123 because your not one are you! Thanks BRGSMan 21:11, 13 December 2009 (UTC)

Hi, another addition to this 'plot'. A new account has been made Servant Camponhoyle, and is posting Camponhoyle many times onto one page. Any connection? Sounds similar to the ServantHoyle of the wikipedia scandal linked above. Thanks BRGSMan 19:07, 14 December 2009 (UTC)

Sorry but I can't actually look at I.P addresses, some government law I think but I can block them. The thing is, if Camponhoyle is the culprit then he should be banned, if not then fair enough. Sounds simple but is so hard! BRGSMan 19:41, 14 December 2009 (UTC)

Hi There

Doesn't seem like we have had a formal introduction. I am SellersWithAnN, newer editor of the site, after it became a pastime of members of 8N to edit at random. How is it in America (or not)...

Anyway, nice to meet you, Sellers (WithAnN) 19:39, 14 December 2009 (UTC)
