Mrs Jackson

Thought at one point to have emigrated, then shocked several students by reappearing randomly on supply work, Mrs Jackson was, in her time, a formidable teacher of French. It is common knowledge that if the fire alarm sounds with an alternating signal, Mrs Jackson is back in the building to rescue the department from disaster.

Quotes

  • "Bonjour la classe, asseyez-vous."
  • "Fermez la bouche!"
Student: "Est-ce que je peux enlever mon veston?"
 Jackson: "Non."
  • "Get out your copy of Encore Tricolore please"
Jackson: "Je voudrais des frites et un bouteille du coca, s'il vous plait."
Man at French motorway services: "Onh? What do you want?"

Habits

  • Not getting out of the chair to write on the board, just scrawling randomly whilst semi-turning. Shares this habit with Doc Rob.
  • Asking you a question during the 10 seconds out of the lesson's 3600 where you glanced out of the window instead of looking at the textbook.
  • Ordering things from French motorway services and getting knocked back.
