MDE Studios was set up in 1999, by David Bewicke, John 'Melon' Holland and Elliot Hurst to meet the growing demand for a BRGS game. It is constructed from 'Melon Dave Elliot' to make MDE.

Over the progress of their school life, MDE studios was renamed to Clipse Online and began competing with Martin Pilkington's M Cubed software. Both ventures were unsuccessful. Unparadoxically though, Clipse Online remains online to this day.
