Recent issues at school
(this is addressed to all moderators)
I have been informed of another side of events, and there are suggestions that some moderators have been abusing their power and making unacceptable edits. I will dig further, and if I find that this is the case, I will be permanently blocking accounts of any offenders. However, I am also prepared to offer an amnesty - if you are willing to own up to any breach of the rules, now is the time to do so. We have to take matters like this seriously, as it undermines the authority of the administrators, and puts us in an extremely difficult position.
On the other hand, if you are innocent, and the allegations are not substantiated, we can continue as before.

As an update, an example has been given as the page of Rebecca Finley. I've deleted it, but I'm sure you can see why it was an issue - the comments are potentially offensive. It does breach the guidelines as set out on the Vandalism page - i.e. that comments cannot be potentially offensive. Please make sure you're aware of this in future.
To All Moderators
This is just a general note to all of the moderators - could you please make sure you check your spelling and grammar when editing? It does look unprofessional when the admins can't spell correctly. Most new browsers should have spellcheckers built in.

Bans

Admin
I've decided to make you an Admin for now. This is on a two week trial period, at the end we'll evaluate how well you're doing! A few pointers:
- I'm sure you know this is a position of responsibility. You must remain completely impartial, and follow the guidelines laid out for bans etc.
- Please make sure you lead by example - preview your posts before saving them, ensure spelling and grammar is correct etc.
- If you aren't sure how to proceed and no one else is around, drop either me or BRGSMan a line and we'll advise.
After two weeks we'll decide whether to keep you as an Admin or not. Don't feel under pressure to make a ton of edits in that time, just keep doing things right and it'll all be fine. Chris talk - mod 22:46, 6 February 2010 (UTC)
A Request
Thanks for your edits on the site. However, I have a request. Please PREVIEW your posts before saving them, as the Recent Changes page is really hard to read when there's hundreds of minor changes. I assume this is a genuine oversight and not an attempt to inflate your post count... You'll be made an Admin as and when we agree you have made a positive contribution to the Wiki; it's not based on an arbitrary number of edits. Thanks! Chris talk - mod 11:04, 6 February 2010 (UTC)
Good Editing

To put a template on a page, just put these: {{ }} around the word. Replace word with delete, and you have a template. Press random, and on a rubbish (empty or nearly empty) page put that template.
