Joe Hodgson is a well known pupil, and also first choice as Goalkeeper for the GB-22 Handball team. Starring in the Partille Cup as his first outing for GB Joe played rather badly, until a game against a Danish team, where he made several fine saves, including 3 1-on-1's. This helped the team win the game, before Joe slid back down the performance scale once more.
Joe is somewhat of a musical mystery. One does not know whether he is at heart a trumpeter, or a singer - he has been seen endulging in both activites with a certain relish. His role in the upcoming musical, 'Little Shop Of Horrors' suggests that he favours the latter, but his loudness in music leads us to believe that he will always find a place for his trumpet.
I remember Joe's amazing (pfft) performance of a disney classic, "A Whole new World" in year 8 music class, where his head vibrated as he sung. Often seen cleaning his trumpet in the form room in year 11, he also got the name Professor Hodgson of his form N for incredibly annoying contributions to science lessons.
Pool
Joe is also known for his pool playing 'skillz', especially 7-balling Heskey in his first game of the year. In a ferocious battle with nemesis Christian 'Woody' Slinger, Joe has been beaten rather comprehensively, but at the time of writing, the series is close at 8-7 to Christian!
Physics Analogy
Describing elastic and inelastic partical collisions to members of his physics set using 'A tiny man on fire running into a group of people and being proded away with a large stick' for elastic. And said tiny man 'running through the people setting some of them on fire and running out the other side with less fiery energy' for inelastic. Put simply... genius.
Mr. Ventress
It does seem that Joseph has always had a certian 'fondness' for Mr Ventress. He has been repeatedly seen 'dancing' with him, and in some respects he aspires to be Mr Ventress. Evidence is shown about the page.
