Trainee Teachers

These are usually the teachers who BRGS take in from a university (probably Manchester) where they teach teachers how to teach. They often have good knowledge of their subjects, but often struggle from problems such as not being able to use the interactive whiteboard properly. Some of these teachers also seem to not know how to handle working with children, often getting talked over. Trainee teachers usually teach more than one class in their subject, and so when a new one turns up they are known throughout the school.

Notable Trainee's

Below is a list of trainee teachers who are special, and the reasons why they are so special:

  • Mr Castle - Failed at using the interactive whiteboard in every single lesson he taught and once asked a certain boy in a year 8 class (2006 intake) "What the f*ck- hell do you think you're doing?"
  • Mr Hargreaves - Demonstrated the Coke & Mentos experiment.
  • Miss Magill - Actually went on to become a teacher at BRGS.
  • Miss Adams - Discovered the element "Greenium".
  • Mr/Dr Glancy - Became a doctor during his teacher training.
