Parents Evening

Parents Evening is that joyous, (usually) bi-annual event who everyone dreads, albeit for different reasons. In lower school, this usually requires you to pre-book three minute long appointments with your teachers, which are completely and utterly pointless, as you will always be stuck behind a parent who insists on having a 30 minute discussion about why their child should have a B+ and not just a B.

This is further compounded by certain teachers not knowing when to stop talking. Queues inevitably formed behind certain teachers, namely Mrs Helm and Mrs Weir (among others). This often resulted in a visit from Mr Morris the Former, who would politely "remind" the teachers to hurry up, possibly using the threat of playground duty next time it snowed.
