OK I've made you a sysop now. An official sort of welcome to the mod team. You'll now be able to protect pages/move things around delete - all the bells and whistles. It'd be helpful to keep an eye on articles in your year, since it's easier for you to tell what's true or not and other issues like that. It'd also be great to do a little subtle advertising. Re Unbanning users

I noticed your comment on Clizard's page - I imagine he's somewhat snowed under with work so I've had a look into it. You talked about a user being blocked? I think this is what you're referring to:

(Block log); 21:06 . . Kronos (Talk | contribs | block) (blocked "User:OMGItsMichael" with an expiry time of 3 days: Creating Pointless Pages, and Creating Pointless Form Pages with Improper names)

It does seem a bit harsh so I've reversed the ban. Perhaps the guidelines need looking into?
