Mr Chadwick is one of the all time greats of BRGS. He retired in 2006, having taught there for 78 years. He was - and still is - adored by his pupils. Currently the Upper Sixth have a petition to get him back. He left because his teaching was becoming too good. His finest moment was Year 9 Camp 2005 when he broke his ankle. His mates included Mr Morris OBE, Doc Rob and Mr R Jackson.

His game with Mr R Jackson

Mr Chadwick was immersed in a game with Mr Jackson whereby each made up stories about the other and reported them to their class as fact. This led to such classics as Mr Jackson's Thai Bride, and the instance where Mr Chadwick's class had to ask him whether he really was the Mayor of Ramsbottom.
