| − | Grandson of Mr Michael Manning, former mayor of Rossendale and owner of the world famous Mannings bakery, Matthew Riley a.k.a Riley was born and raised in Waterfoot. He is famed for his passionate love for Coca Cola and Alan Partridge (the violent cocktail often resulting in mass devastation). He has led a troubled life upto this point having struggled with an extreme case of CDS (caffeine dependant syndrome).

| − | Matthew is a former student of QEGS Blackburn (Queen Elizabeths Grammar School), notorious for its abundance of weiner and general fags. Luckily he escaped without being converted into a full-on gay along with fellow family member [[James Bromley]]. The two escaped together and decided to take a peek at what BRGS life has to offer. The two were inseperable along with another young man [[Daniel Thompson]]. whenever there is a party the three are invited as one solitary unit as they have formed such a strong solid bond for all to see. [[Edward Cittanova]] had also tagged long with the three for a short while but has since moved on and found love in the form of [[Dominic Taylor]]. So now it's left down to the three musketeers and it is fair to say that Riley is the lynch pin in this exclusive band of fine students.

| − | Riley has a passion for football. He is an avid supporter of Burnley FC and strongly believes that this season is "the season". Another way Riley likes to exploit his football obsession is via our multimedia interactive system that is the PS2. His favourite game being Fifa 2007 which he enjoys with a pint of coke (or two). Riley also enjoys to play football, in real life. He enjoys having general kick about up the "assy" and is often found crying out in the common room to see if any one fancies a game after school to which he is usually turned down. However there is one night when he doesn't get turned down and that is when he takes his team, "Jurassic Park" (famed from Alan Partridge) to the soccer dome in Blackburn. his team consists of [[Phil Chapman]], [[Simon Coates]], [[Daniel Thompson]], [[James Bromley]], [[Lewis Gray]] and new signing [[Daniel Surgeon]]. However this team is struggling with link up play and the execution of its shooting, saying that it does have a strong defence in the form of the rock that is Simon 'Makele' Coates

| − | Riley, once thought of being a gay, has surprised the majority by his recent exploits with the ladies. Beginning with a certain Amy Bemmant, however this whistle stop relationship soon came to an end to the disappointment of young Matthew. However Riley has shown (in the words of Iain Dowie) "tremendous bouncebackability" by attending an 18th and trying his luck there. His distinguished looks and charming manner attracted the attention of Lauren Homer, with the pair exchanging text messages. Also to add the mire, Riley being the pimp he is, is currently trying his luck with the younger ladies with some postive signs being radiated from the youth. Matthew has now acquired himself with a pleasant girlfriend, and he is enjoying the aspects of married life
