Orienteering
Well known (or at least known) to many as one of the self proclaimed orienteers who have to stand up on stage to receive various prizes from a delighted Mr Gray. The usual reason for these awards is unknown to the rest of the school, as Mr Gray on stage equates to stopping listening. The real reason for the awards is that Alex and his fellow orienteers put in huge amounts of time and effort etc, so that they can come close to being the best.
