School Discos
School discos are often held on special occasions such as charity events, Christmas, Valentine's day and for those leaving BRGS in Year 11 and Upper Sixth (Year 13). Every year there is also a disco for the Year 7s, which they don't usually enjoy because they are debatably too young to like discos or to dance (not that sixth formers and teachers can dance any better!). There are always spotlights hanging from the balcony because no-one can be bothered to take them down between discos (just like no-one takes down the Chinese dragons from China week until five months later in early spring). Discos always take place in the main hall and the spotlights are always used and Mr Edwards usual hosts the discos. School sometimes hire a DJ or get Mr. Edwards to play music keep everyone entertained.
