Courts

The Courts are located at the front of the school, allowing years 8-11 to play football at break times. The mesh fencing is approximately 10cm lower than the height of an escaping football, so a common sight at lunchtime is a student running down towards Waterfoot chasing an errant ball.

It was once used for PE when the astroturf was covered by a sheet of ice (despite being an 'all weather pitch') and the sports hall was being used for exams.

This institution is soon to be replaced with a new teachers' car park and bus lay-by, subject to planning permission.
