During the reign of Mr Morris the First, there were a wide variety of machines around school, designed to give you that all-important sugar boost at a reasonable price. From the reliable old chocolate machine to the Coke machine, students of all ages gathered around to grab "lunch on the go".
With the arrival of Mr Morris the Newer however, this all changed. Whether a personal vendetta against such "unhealthy" items (or more likely to coincide with new government guidelines) these machines have been replaced with brand new "healthier" ones. These are easily recognisable:
- They are always broken, due to the arm getting stuck
- They charge about £1.50 for a slightly bruised apple
- They are absent of any fizzy beverages, even though the drinks that replaced them are arguably more unhealthy (read the sugar content). This is also true of the "health snacks" - check out the sugar content of a Rice Krispie Square bar
