Triple Tech is a throwback to the 'good old days', when the timetable was split up into eight 35 minute lessons, rather than the 5x1hr lessons at present. On a Thursday afternoon, period 6 would be Technology, where the infamous Mr Nicholls would explain what the class was going to do in periods 7 & 8. Then, we would have a fifteen minute break, return for period 7, and be told all over again what we needed to do.
On a side note, Wednesdays were always a pain, due to the genius timetabling. Year 7s would be expected to bring a Games kit, and books for SIX separate lessons. Links to excessive back pain and compressed spines were never proved.
