Tom Knightley (of 07G) is widely known as a 'bad boy' at BRGS. This name derives from when he used to be detentioned for no reason by the tyrant known as 'Mrs Wright' (who has now left). He then said as a joke to Matthew Le Put, "Me and you Matt, we're the bad boys of Art". Tom Knightley also has by far the most silly jokes made against him, and it is remarkable how he has managed to come through this, despite the cheap insults of many mouse hearted people such as Hamzah Hussain (A.K.A. 'da Penguin').

Tom supports Burnley FC, to an extent that all you used to ever hear from him was about 'Chris Eagles' or 'Graham Alexander'. He has stopped now, but only because he got the mick taken out of him.

Tom once had an amazing April Fool's joke played on him. Jack Starkie and Andrew Shaw convinced him that they'd signed him up for a debating exam that day (there's no such exam). He needed to rehearse some music, so Jack, Andrew and a bunch of others went to the computer room and printed off a little note saying that he would have to pay nine pounds because he missed the exam. Tom got worked up and went to see Miss Robinson because the note told him to. She was in the general office and when Tom said that he didn't sign himself up for the exam, she obviously had no idea what he was on about. Jack then shouted in his ear "April Fools!" and then everyone sprinted off, leaving Tom looking like an idiot!

Even through all the stupid things he's had done to him Tom comes through it all smiling and laughing with everyone else, which makes him a cool guy.

Tom also managed to captain his form in Year 8 to the interform final, despite only having six players and having most of the "cool guys" (Hamzah Hussain, Alex Holmes, Danny Pacey) decide they were far too "try hard" for the team and that 07G weren't good enough for them to play.
