Musical Futures is started in [[year 9]] [[Music]] lessons. During this project you will group with others to create a band. Your [[Music]] [[teacher]] will then give you your first song to play, along with the tab, notes etc needed to play it. You will play the song with many different instruments and choose one to play in front of the whole class. From here on your band can choose what songs to play and what instruments to use. You will have to bring the music in yourself. You may also want to give your band a name.

Once this is done, for the rest of the year, your lessons in music are spent doing nothing and dossing about. Only the really musical people take it seriously!
