The '''Library''' is quite small, yet incredibly cosy, and is home to many a youngster during dinner time. During times of school crises, i.e. exam season or meetings, the Library is transformed into a mysterious meeting place; a forbidden zone for any student who dares cross the threshold.  
Often described as a "small ''(cramped)'', working ''(no books)'' '''library'''", a place to spend time when upset. Mostly filled by year 8 and 9's but isn't rare to see a worrying year 10 in there. It is often left to spectate on the affairs of the rest of the school.

Sixth Formers are the only group who truly frequent the library, yet are often left in the cold half-way through doing work when told "Please can you leave the library, a library lesson is taking place here." [[Mrs Sellens]] and [[Miss Caton]] are the prime culprits in this respect.

Furthermore, during a ridiculously long period in summer (and near Christmas), the entire library is closed down so that two people can prepare for oral exams. How pointless.
