Help:Editorial guidelines

Please Read Carefully!

1. Check your spelling and grammar before posting! It looks much more professional that way. Simply copy the text you've edited into Microsoft Word, or Open Office if you don't have it, and do a quick spell check. Alternatively, pay attention in English. I managed!

2. If you want to link to a page, please make sure the link is spelt correctly, with the correct capitals and punctuation.

e.g. "technology" is different to "Technology" (the latter being correct)

3. If you're writing a page on a person, be it yourself or someone else, make it relevant! Quotes, anecdotes, mishaps, all are great, but "in-jokes" that only three people find funny are pretty dull to everyone else who's reading this.

4. Keep it polite and light hearted! Poking fun at people is great, but know where to draw the line. Blatant offensiveness, like racist comments, or just 'slagging off' someone will not be tolerated.

5. Finally, please feel free to edit any page you want if you know what you're doing, but bear one thing in mind... we know exactly who edited a page, and blocking IP addresses is a very simple step!

Basically, please keep it clean, useful, and enjoy using the site. We hope it continues to grow, but it will only do this if people are willing to put their time into creating an informative, concise, and above all funny database.
