Scheduled Changes
- October 2010:
- Maintenance and upload of SpecialUserScore extension.
- New Vector-based BRGS theme. Vector is the new theme sported by Wikipedia et al.
- Review of previously-recommended extensions.
Change Log
- 04/10/10: BRGSMono set as the default theme, but you can now use the vanilla MonoBook theme too.
- 27/09/10: ParserFunctions added. Email address required to edit (to reduce spam).
- 23/09/10: Upgraded to MediaWiki 1.16.
- 23/09/10: Migration to new server complete.
- 26/06/10: Any person who generates excessive web traffic will have their IP address temporarily blocked.
- 23/05/10: Some unnecessary language packs removed and excessively large photos deleted to conserve filespace.
- 28/03/10: Migration to new server complete.
- 26/03/10:
- Enabled uploads (be careful of filesize, there isn't very much space for images).
- Fixed presentation on personal + toolbox links.
- Updated historical stats.
- 25/08/09: Upgraded to MediaWiki 1.15
- 18/07/08: Upgraded to MediaWiki 1.12
- 24/05/08: Fixed some database errors that may have affected page editing.
- 23/11/07: Site database somehow fell apart and I didn't notice this for a while since 19th. Fixed now and backed up again.
- 04/07/07: Converted the email address->image to curtail the influx of new spam from non-image reading bots. Updated the stats for June.
- 01/06/07: stats.brgswiki.org shows recent usage statistics (data before November is on the current events page); problem with html in pages identified; backup.
- 20/05/07: Upgraded to MediaWiki to 1.1 - result is that html is now disabled.
- 20/05/07: ini_set error silenced (at the expense of other things)!
- 19/05/07: StatCounter cookies/Javascript removed (now redundant). Code will phase out as the page caches get updated.
- 17/05/07: Anonymous edits/page creation disabled; backup.
- 19/03/07: Re-enabled image uploads
