Flyn likes to draw his own signature faces on every piece of work, his own and other members of the class. On the Year 8 trip to the White Scar Caves in Ingleton, Flyn lent over a railing to look down into a cavern only to have his helmet fall off and bounce noisily down into the deep cavern, much to the amusement of the rest of his form. Currently he is being hunted down by a group of Year 8 girls as one of them is in love with him (clearly shown by the mark on the central table in Room 7).
