Officially the David Heap Sports Centre, it was completed at a cost of £1 million to the school and its donors.
Some people speculate that the budget was a bit unplanned, having pegs in the boys changing room that bent if you put clothes on that were too heavy (these have now been changed), but an expensive TV that only plays advertisements for sports clubs made with clip art...
