Similar to Rounders, but arguably more manly as it requires a much larger bat. The aim is to hit the ball as far as possible, and run to the other end of a rectangular "pitch". That is only half the battle however.
Points are scored for a safe return. You can run anytime, but you get five points from running off your own hit, or one off somebody elses. If someone on the fielding team tags you with the ball, you are out. The favoured tactic is to stack up as many students as possible at one end, then run en masse whenever someone hits the ball more than 15cm. They can't get you all, usually..
