The Nickname
James Smith has an unusual nickname granted to him by his friends, of Spliff. This was misleading as he was infact not a stoner. The name arose from his surname 'Smith'. Intended to be a variant of 'Smithy' which had been attributed to his school/VI form class mate Mike Smith.
