This is a basic overview of how to use the year group system on BRGS Wiki. Obviously there are several 7S, 9B etc forms, so the easiest system is to use the intake year (the year you started school in Year 7), followed by the form letter.

For example, the 2008 intake, form S, would be designated 08S. Therefore we don't need to change the form everytime a year progresses!

Likewise, the 2009 form B intake would be 09B, rather than 7B in 09/10, then having to change to 8B, then 9B...

Once you've left school this will still be useful, for example some of the first users were in 99S.

Note if you are making a page on the intake of 2010 or 2011 please use 010 or 011 then the form to avoid confusion between the current Year 10 forms and the year of intake.
