The "Media Block as it has been dubbed by the teachers" ( presumably until it is named like the Sixthform center and the Sports Hall ) is a new building designed to eradicate all the prefabricated classrooms in one swoop. It is to be located behind the sports hall next to Booth Road. It is due to be finished in 2011 and will be welcomed by students and staff alike not only because it has cut off a major shortcut round the school.
